Multiple Offers CommentaryIt is important to recognize that sometimes paying full price for a home is ok. Full price for one house may be a better deal than $20,000 off another house. Although they’ve all heard it in the news, many Sellers do not believe that their house has gone down in value and therefore list at a price that is too high. It happens quite often where a Seller prices their home too high initially only to have multiple price reductions. This leads to longer days on market for those homes. However, homes that are priced right do still sell quickly and can generate multiple offers.

There are pockets of good news offset by bad, with home values and prices basically bumping along the bottom of the grid on a perceived never-ending rocky road.
