Cibolo Canyons for anyone who isn't aware is quickly becoming a buzz in the San Antonio area. With the JW Mariott and the TPC golfcourse opening soon; the master planned community will soon be known nationwide. There are rumors that some professional golfers are looking into the area as it has homes priced from the low $200's well into the one million plus range. Some of the current builders in the area are Imagine Homes, Mike Holloway, Highland Homes, Green Wood Custom Homes, Newmark, Genesis Custom Homes, Meritage Homes, and Bridle Bit homes as well. As many already know Cibolo Canyons was the location of the 2008 Parade of Homes and in my opinion it was a good choice due to the vast range of home types and styles. Sitterle Homes has even opened up its new community Las Campanas in the area closer to Evans Road.

Agent quarterly survey shows growing optimism toward a housing market recovery

End of tunnel, meet light. Real estate agents have been imagining that vision for a while, and first-quarter optimism in 2012 has some saying the road to recovery could be just around the corner.

Much of the upbeat attitude from HouseHunt's market condition survey stems from tighter inventory and houses not remaining as long on the market. Of agents reporting, 38 percent said inventory was tight in their cities, compared to 32 percent in the fourth quarter of 2011 and 13 percent at the beginning of last year. Regarding time on the market, 30 percent reported houses selling in 60 days or less, compared to 22 percent in the previous quarter and 10 percent at the beginning of 2011.
