We were referred to Martina by our realtor in Texas, as we were relocating from San Antonio to Washington DC area. My realtor in Texas, who we trusted... whole heartedly, did some research and found Martina to be the best realtor for us to work with in the Northern Virginia area. We were excited, but also very nervous as we had never been to the east coast. But Martina put all of our worries and anxiety to rest. She took control of the situation, and understood our plight.
One conversation and an email later, Martina had a plan with the information given to her, and narrowed the area where we would attempt to find our new home. Martina had the significant challenge of working with a family she had never met and finding a home in less than seven days. Martina was patient and made every effort to listen to our needs and wants. She also connected with each of us on a personal level (my wife and I) and made the search for our home easier. My wife and I were shocked at the types of homes that were available in our price range (we were use to Texas prices) but working with Martina we were able to find a beautiful town home within our price range in an area that reminded us of home. During the week we were in Virginia, Martina drove us around all over Northern Virginia to find the perfect home for us.She showed us different types of homes, not just what she liked. She is very professional, knowledgeable and has the ability to communicate on behalf of her client to close the deal.
Martina also has numerous contacts associated with the buying and selling of a home that it was like one stop shopping. She referred us to a great lending and settlement group that we were very happy with during this very stressful situation. The home we found had significant interest with several contracts in less than eight days. Martina was able to negotiate with the sellers realtor to convince the buyer to select our contract over several that were available.
We were very pleased with Martina's service, she is a gem in a large pool of realtors, just like our new home was a gem in a large inventory of homes.
Martina was a great agent to work with. We appreciated her customer service when it came to helping us buy our home. In a competitive market, it was ...important to us to have an agent that was prompt and available for anything, question or concern we may have had.(Even buying a house around Christmas) Her professionalism and knowledge of the area was also an added bonus. Being military, we felt we were in good hands working with Martina as she is also a military wife and understood our personal situation. She is an agent with great commitment to each client she works with and we experienced it firsthand!
